Kleemann high flow exhaust headers and turbo downpipes
greatly reduce exhaust gas back pressure allowing
the engine to breathe freely and produce more power,
and supercharged, turbocharged as well as
normally aspirated engines will benefit from our exhaust products.
Kleemann headers are available for all newer
normally aspirated and supercharged R4, V6 and V8 engines,
and our turbo downpipe kits are available
for turbo R4 and biturbo V8/V12 engines.

A normally aspirated V8 will typically gain 7 to 10 percent
in horsepower and torque,
while a supercharged/turbocharged engine
will gain 10-15 percent in horsepower and torque.
The Kleemann header and downpipe kits
include steel cats for certain applications.
430/500/43 AMG/55 AMG V8 (M113)
Kleemann offers a complete engine tuning program for the normally aspirated Mercedes-Benz M113 V8 engines.
These engines were available in Mercedes Benz vehicles from 1998 through the end of 2006.
Please note that the 55 AMG designation in this section refers to the normally aspirated engine
(without “KOMPRESSOR” on the front wings/fenders).
The factory supercharged engine (with “KOMPRESSOR” on the front wings/fenders) is referred to as a M113K V8,
and is covered under a separate heading.
The flexibility of the program was developed to fit every need and purpose,
all tuning components can be used individually, in predetermined sets, or in a customer defined matrix.
The available tuning components address all aspects of the engine and represent a “Stage” tuning concept ranging from K1 to K3.
The Kleemann normally aspirated (N/A) V8 engine tuning program consists of ECU tuning,
tubular exhaust headers in stainless steel, and super sport camshafts.
The Kleemann Kompressor System (KSS) has its own set of stages,
utilizing the same components as the normally aspirated stages in conjunction with the Kleemann Kompressor System (KSS).
430/43 AMG V8 (M113) N/A
430/43AMG: Tuning solutions will be the same as described below,
with slightly lower power gains due to the smaller engine displacement.
500 V8 (M113) N/A
500-K1(N/A): ECU tuning. Up to 330 HP and 480 Nm (356 lb-ft) of torque.
500-K2(N/A): K1 + stainless steel tubular exhaust headers and downpipes.
Up to 360 HP and 500 Nm (370 lb-ft) of torque.
500-K3(N/A):K2 + super sport camshafts. Up to 380 HP and 520 Nm (385 lb-ft) of torque.
55 AMG V8 (M113) N/A
55-K1(N/A): An optimized ECU software upgrade. Up to 385 HP and 545 Nm (404 lb-ft) of torque.
55-K2(N/A): K1 + a set of stainless steel tubular exhaust headers and downpipes.
Up to 415 HP and 565 Nm (419 lb-ft) of torque.
55-K3(N/A): K2 + super sport camshafts. Up to 435 HP and 585 Nm (433 lb-ft) of torque.
500 V8 (M113) KKS
500-K1(KKS): Kleemann Kompressor System and a custom made ECU tune.
Up to 455 HP and 585 Nm (433 lb-ft) of torque.
500-K2(KKS): K1 + stainless steel tubular exhaust headers and downpipes.
Up to 475 HP and 615 Nm (456 lb-ft) of torque.
500-K3(KKS): K2 + super sport camshafts. Up to 500 HP and 655 Nm (485 lb-ft) of torque.
55 AMG V8 (M113) KS
55-K1(KSS): Kleemann Kompressor System custom made ECU tune. Up to 500 HP and 650 Nm (481 lb-ft) of torque.
55-K2: K1 + stainless steel tubular exhaust headers and downpipes. Up to 525 HP and 680 Nm (504 lb-ft) of torque.
55-K3: K2 + super sport camshafts. Up to 540 HP and 700 Nm (518 lb-ft) of torque.
Note: Headers available for: ML W163, CLK C209, E W211,CLS C219, SL R230, *G463 LHD/RHD, ML W164, CL C215, S W220.
All headers will require removal of the primary/upstream catalysts.
*G500 requires use of OE AMG55 Kompressor rear mufflers, or similar.
